Noordwijk is definitely worth a visit, because this place has a lot to offer! Noordwijk is only a ten-minute drive from Hotel Sassenheim-Leiden and therefore ideal to combine with your overnight stay in our hotel.

Noordwijk is best known for its beautiful beach, the lively boulevard and the pleasant shopping street where the shops are open seven days a week. Everyone who loves sun, sea, beach, a vibrant nightlife, tasty restaurants, theater and above all a lot of fun, is in the right place in Noordwijk aan Zee!

Noordwijk Binnen

Noordwijk still has a village centre; the picturesque Noordwijk Binnen and has a wealth of history. Around this atmospheric inner core are several shops and restaurants and regular events take place. You can also visit the church top of the Sint Jeroenskerk here.

Aquatics

Water sports center BeachBreak is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts and guests who want to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee away from the crowds. You can also book a surf or kite surfing lesson here. Already more experienced in water sports? Then renting equipment is of course also possible. Kitesets, Surfboards, SUPs and Kayaks can be rented at BeachBreak, among others.

Activities

Besides the beach and water sports, there is much more to experience in Noordwijk! For example, you can rent an E-chopper, go mountain biking, go to the Jumpin trampoline park, and to the Atlantic Wall Museum. In addition, Space Expo is definitely worth a visit! In the summer months there is much to experience in Noordwijk, for example the weekly Summer Market, the running competition 'De 10 van Noordwijk', and Ibiza Festival Noordwijk.

Public transport

It is possible to travel to Noordwijk by public transport from our hotel. It is best to check the HTM website for current travel times. The best stop to get off if you want to go to Noordwijk aan Zee is bus stop Parallel Boulevard.

Parking

Paid parking is available seven days a week around the shopping areas in Noordwijk aan Zee and the boulevard, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm from €1.00 to a maximum of €3.00 per hour. You can pay parking fees at the parking meter with cash or pin, or via a parking app on your mobile phone. Outside these areas you can use the blue parking disc in the blue zones. Signs indicate parking times and parking duration in the blue zones. You can also buy a day ticket at some car parks. It is also an option to park in the parking garage of the Palace Hotel.
