Van der Valk in top three ‘Most customer-friendly company in the Netherlands 2018’.
On April 19, the presentation of the CustomerFirst Awards took place during a festive gala evening at the Beatrix Theater in Utrecht. Van der Valk received a nice second place as most customer-friendly company of the Netherlands. Van der Valk scored a 8,47 for customer satisfaction and came close to title holder Coolblue, according to the consumer panel of Samr.

Ab and Christa de Bruijn, management of Van der Valk Hotel Sassenheim-Leiden, had the pleasure to receive the price. On behalf of the family they tell how Van der Valk keep up the customer satisfaction. Ab de Bruijn: ‘’Hospitality is in our genes. The vision and attitude of founders Martien and Rie van der Valk is still an example for the current 4th generation of Van der Valk. We are therefore honored with this recognitions by our guests.

About CustomerFirst Awards
In total, thirty companies from different branches were nominated for this title. The award was presented by the founders of the CustomerFirst Awards. The founders are SAMR Marktvinders, Stichting NCCA and CustomerFirst. The initiators of the public award are SAMR Marktvinders and author Egbert Jan van Bel.
Precedes the election of the CustomerFirst Awards goes a continuous online survey among Dutch consumers. The respondents are randomly selected from SamSam, the consumer panel of Samr. In 2017, more than 35.000 reviews were received.
