Visit the Noordwijk lighthouse

Have you always wanted to see the inside of a lighthouse? Then visit Noordwijk lighthouse independently on Sundays from 11:00 to 16:00 (from 31 March to 27 October 2024)! Enjoy the history and beautiful views at this unique spot on the beach. 

The first light on Noordwijk's beach dates back to 1444, but it wasn't until the 19th century that the first wooden lighthouse was built. The current, white, characteristic lighthouse on Koningin Wilhelmina Boulevard dates from 1921. This tower has six floors, counts 108 steps, has a light height of over 33 metres and is made of brick and reinforced concrete. The distinctive tower is definitely worth a visit.
