Atlantikwall Museum Noordwijk

Atlantikwall bunkers: A historical experience on the coast

The Atlantikwall Museum Noordwijk offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into World War II and the way the European coast was transformed into a fortress by the Germans. Located at Verlengde Bosweg 1, just 250 meters from Bosweg, the museum comprises a series of historic bunkers that together make up the Batterij Noordwijk. This site includes a fire control bunker, gun bunkers, ammunition bunkers, and living quarters, all connected by a network of tunnels.

In recent years, volunteers have worked hard to open several bunkers and the tunnel system to the public. Visitors can explore the museum bunker (fire control bunker) independently using an audio tour, which provides detailed information about the history and use of the bunker. A special audio tour for children is also available. Additionally, visitors can explore the tunnel system with a guide. It is recommended to purchase tickets for the guided tour online to secure a spot.

The fire control bunker can be visited independently with an audio tour (Museum). A visit can be extended with a guided tour through the tunnel system (Museum + Guided Tour). Ensure you purchase tickets in advance to secure a place in the guided tour.
