Setup days of the flower parade

Before the Bulb Region Flower Parade, the floats are decorated with flowers by hundreds of volunteers. These so-called "setup days" will take place in 2026 at Jub Holland in Noordwijkerhout.

During these days, visitors can take a look and see how the floats are built. The setup days this year are on:

The Bulb Region Flower Parade is a five-day spring flower festival in April. All bulb municipalities and the flower city of Haarlem are involved in a variety of activities. If you support the Bulb Region Flower Parade, become a Friend or Business Partner! Not only do you make an important financial contribution, but you also benefit from many extra perks.

Route of the flower parade

The absolute highlight of the parade is on the Saturday, when it follows its 42-kilometer route from Noordwijk to Haarlem. The procession consists of around twenty floats and more than thirty flower-decorated luxury and special vehicles.

The 2026 route will be announced as soon as possible. For reference, the 2025 route:

• 08:00 – Floats positioned at Huis ter Duinstraat / Nieuwe Zeeweg – Duinweg

• 09:00 – Noordwijk (official starting point, Picképlein roundabout)

• 09:20 – Tribune Noordwijk (Vuurtorenplein)

• 10:45 – Voorhout, Leidsevaart (entrance KTS)

• 11:00 – Tribune Voorhout (Jacoba van Beierenweg)

• 11:50 – Sassenheim tribune (Rijksstraatweg 52)

• 14:00 – Sassenheim, Partycentrum 'de Oude Tol' (departure after break on Hoofdstraat)

• 14:30 – Tribune Lisse-Zuid (Heereweg 466)

• 15:05 – Tribune Lisse-Binnen (Heereweg 345)

• 15:20 – Lisse, Gemeentehuis

• 15:45 – Lisse, Keukenhof

• 17:00 – Hillegom center

• 17:15 – Tribune Hillegom (Hoofdstraat 18)

• 18:00 – Bennebroek, Rijksstraatweg

• 19:40 – Linnaeushof (departure after break on Rijksstraatweg – Prinsenlaan)

• 20:00 – Heemstede, entrance Groenendaal

• 20:35 – Heemstede, Binnenweg

• 21:30 – Haarlem (Houtplein)

• 22:00 – Haarlem Oude Gracht (Naussaulaan)

Note: Ten minutes before the parade starts, the Friends Parade takes place, a festive procession to get into the mood. Snacks, drinks, and program booklets are available, and if you want to financially support the parade, you can do so via figurants dressed as bulb flowers.

Stands of the flower parade

Each year, several stands are available along the route, with reserved seating. Stands are located in Noordwijkerhout (Friday evening), Noordwijk, Voorhout, Lisse, Hillegom, and Sassenheim (within walking distance of our hotel).

At the stands, a speaker provides information about the parade and the floats. Toilet facilities and catering are available, but it is advisable to reserve seats early, as they are very popular.
