Europe’s largest playground, Linnaeushof, is located about a 30-minute drive from Van der Valk Hotel Sassenheim – Leiden.

Linnaeushof features over 350 play structures and attractions such as zip lines, a trampoline and air cushion center, pedal boats, karts, a super slide, and much more! From May to September, in warm weather, the water playground “Oase” is open – a big water spectacle for both young and old to enjoy! Indoor play is also possible in the covered playground with mini cars, air karts, and a play castle.

Public transport

Within an hour, you can reach Europe’s largest playground from our hotel. From the bus stop at Station Sassenheim, you can take Arriva bus number 50 to the Linnaeushof stop in Bennebroek. From there, it’s about a 12-minute walk.

Parking

If you are traveling by car, Linnaeushof is only a 30-minute drive from our hotel. A large (paid) parking lot is located directly at Linnaeushof, where you can park your car.
