Discover more than 4,000 fascinating sea creatures, from playful otters and graceful rays to elegant seahorses and curious penguins.

A journey through the ocean
SEA LIFE offers a unique opportunity to travel from the Dutch waters to the deepest oceans, complete with colorful corals and impressive sea creatures. Walk through the underwater tunnel, surrounded by 180,000 liters of water, and watch sharks and turtles swim calmly above your head. During your visit, you will pass more than 45 aquariums, coming face to face with animals such as cod, starfish, and remarkable rays. In the exotic Amazonia section, you can immerse yourself in a tropical rainforest and meet the inhabitants of the Amazon River, including the infamous piranhas.
Interactive experience at the touch pool
At SEA LIFE Scheveningen, visitors also have the opportunity to experience the underwater world up close. At the interactive touch pool, under the guidance of a staff member, you can meet sea anemones and other fascinating sea creatures. You can gently touch their soft tentacles, adding a unique experience to your day.

Whether it’s raining or sunny, SEA LIFE is mostly covered and therefore the perfect outing for all weather conditions. It provides both cooling on warm days and shelter during rainy moments, making it an ideal destination for a day by the sea.
Accessibility
SEA LIFE Scheveningen is located at Strandweg 13 in The Hague. For current opening hours and prices, please refer to the SEA LIFE website.
From our hotel, SEA LIFE Scheveningen can be reached within an hour by public transport. Start your journey at NS Station Sassenheim, just a 10-minute walk from our hotel. From here, take the train towards SEA LIFE. For exact transfer points and departure times, please consult the NS website.
Our hotel is located next to the A44, making it ideal to visit SEA LIFE by car. You can reach SEA LIFE from our hotel in just 25 minutes. Upon entering The Hague, follow the signs to Scheveningen Beach, towards the Kurhaus.
Note: Do not drive onto the Strandweg; this is a one-way street leading to the harbor, where turning around is not possible.
Parking
SEA LIFE does not have its own parking lot, but offers a special rate at the Strand parking garage. After your visit, you can purchase a ticket at the counter with a 50% discount on your parking time. From the Strand parking garage, it is approximately a 15-minute walk to SEA LIFE Scheveningen.
