Throughout the year, there are fantastic seasonal markets in the area around Van der Valk hotel Sassenheim - Leiden. Here you can shop at cozy stalls with jewelry, home accessories, men’s and women’s fashion, as well as various souvenirs or seasonal products. In spring, when the bulb region is in bloom and the Keukenhof opens its doors again, the world-famous Flower Parade takes place. During that week, the lovely parade markets are definitely worth a visit. In winter, many cozy Christmas markets are also held in the region.
