Are you staying longer at our hotel? You can choose to actively contribute to a greener hotel environment by opting out of daily housekeeping for one or more days. For each day you skip housekeeping, the Pure Benefit foundation will plant a tree, sponsored by Van der Valk with the money saved by forgoing cleaning.
Before your stay
How to choose Green Stays?
Via the email you receive from us 2 days before arrival. The reception will automatically be notified and will add it to the notes of your reservation.
Upon arrival
How to choose Green Stays?
At check-in, you can indicate that you would like to choose a Green Stays stay. Our reception will make a note of this and ensure communication with housekeeping.
During your stay
How to choose Green Stays?
Hang the "Green Stays" door hanger (found in your hotel room) on the outside of your room door before 12:00 PM. Our housekeeping staff will then skip cleaning your room and notify the reception for administrative processing.
Would you like to choose Green Stays just once, for example during a stay of more than two nights? You can also use the door hanger for this!
