Public transport

There are several options for traveling by public transport to Hortus Botanicus in Leiden. The fastest option is to walk to NS Station Sassenheim in 10 minutes and from there take the sprinter train to NS Station Leiden Central, which departs twice an hour. As soon as you get off at this station you can travel from Bus stop Leiden Central to Bus stop Paterstraat. Upon arrival you can walk to Hortus Botanicus in about 4 minutes.

Parking

Within fifteen minutes by car you can reach Hortus Botanicus from our hotel. Upon arrival in Leiden, it is best to park your car at Haagweg City Park or in the Centrum Morspoort parking garage. From the Haagweg City Park Parking there is free transport with a shuttle bus that will take you up to 80 meters from the Hortus Botanicus on request. From the Centrum Morspoort parking garage, you can walk along the beautiful Leidsche canals in fifteen minutes to Hortus Botanicus.
