On the Sunday before “Pakjesavond” (December 5th, the evening when gifts are exchanged in the Netherlands), Sinterklaas – the Dutch equivalent of Saint Nicholas – will visit Hotel Sassenheim-Leiden together with his cheerful helpers. During our festive brunch in the atmospheric Live Cooking buffet restaurant, children can join in the singing, play games, and catch as many traditional pepernoten (spiced cookies) as they can!
Our Sinterklaas Brunch includes freshly baked bread rolls, a wide selection of hot and cold meat and fish dishes, sweet treats, salads and fruit. Coffee, tea, milk and fruit juices are included.

For children, the Sinterklaas Brunch is always a magical and exciting experience. In our supervised Kids’ Corner, we organize fun Sinterklaas-themed activities. And of course, Sinterklaas never lets the little ones leave empty-handed. It will be a true celebration for the whole family!
