Accessibility

Katwijk is easy to reach. There are many parking lots and garages right by the sea! You can also arrive by public transport or bike. Take the bus from Leiden Centraal Station or park your bike at one of the many bike parking areas. Tip: until March 31, the first 2 hours of parking are free in the public garages and at the Noordduinen and Zuidduinen parking areas.

Public Transport

Buses leave from Leiden Centraal every ten minutes to Katwijk. From the train, you can directly take the bus and be in Katwijk in about 15 minutes. Get off at one of the stops along the boulevard, and you will be just minutes from the beach!

Parking in Katwijk

For visitors arriving by car, there are various parking options in Katwijk aan Zee. Paid parking is available along the boulevard and in the center. Additionally, there are some free parking areas a little further from the beach, from which you can reach the beach with a short walk.
