Rent a bike or e-bike and discover the beautiful surroundings of our hotel. The area around Hotel Sassenheim–Leiden features an extensive network of cycling junctions. Thanks to the central location of our hotel, near the Sassenheim Tourist Transfer Point and cycling junctions 52 and 53, you can easily plan a cycling route.

Practical information
You can reserve bikes through our dedicated webshop. A few days before your arrival, you will receive an email with the link to the booking platform. The bikes will then be ready for you at the hotel.

Store and Charge Your Bikes
If you prefer not to use our bike rental but bring your own bikes, you can make use of our covered bike parking with a charging station for e-bikes.
Cycling routes
Via Fietsnetwerk
At the reception of our hotel, various cycling routes are available for you, compiled in cooperation with the Fietsnetwerk app. You don't necessarily need the physical app on your phone; you can also open the cycling routes in the browser. For example, take a tour around the Kagerplassen, through the historic city of Leiden, and the beaches of Noordwijk and Katwijk. Of course, you can also map out your own cycling route!
