Game Event
Game Event
Restaurant PAARL
On Saturday, 14 November 2026, we are organizing, in collaboration with Passie voor Wild, a special and exclusive event for true game enthusiasts: the Game Event. An evening where nature, craftsmanship, and culinary experience come together – from the story behind the game to the refined dishes on your plate.
Passie voor Wild will guide you step by step through the how and why of hunting in the Netherlands: the importance of game management, the hunter’s role in maintaining nature’s balance, and respect for the animal. You will see up close how wild duck, hare, and venison are processed. During the demonstrations, the duck is plucked, the hare skinned, and the venison carved from the carcass. Passion for Game
During this unique evening, Passie voor Wild will introduce you to the world of hunting and the preparation of game. With more than 25 years of hunting experience, the team shares their knowledge and passion with impressive dedication.
During the demonstrations, you will learn more about wildlife, hunting, and the artisanal preparation of game: duck (including plucking the feathers), hare (including skinning), and venison (including carving from the carcass). You will also have the opportunity to taste freshly prepared game directly during the demonstrations — a unique chance to experience the purity and quality of game meat.
Passie voor Wild offers not only a demonstration, but also insight and understanding: why hunting in the Netherlands is necessary, how it is carried out with respect, and why the resulting game is of exceptional quality.
An honest and pure demonstration of craftsmanship, intended for guests who truly want to understand the origin of their meal.
Five-course game dinner
SVH Master Chef Rogér Rassin
Between the demonstrations, you will enjoy a carefully curated five-course game dinner, prepared by the kitchen team of Restaurant Nest, led by Executive Chef and SVH Master Chef Rogér Rassin. Each dish is inspired by the animal you have just learned more about and is a refined translation of nature onto your plate.
Our sommelier has selected a matching wine pairing to perfectly complement the flavors of the game.
