Van der Valk Hotel Sassenheim – Leiden has no fewer than 16 multifunctional rooms in the conference center on the first floor. Each meeting room has natural light and is equipped with the latest technologies. Sound, light, image and temperature are easy to operate via a touchscreen and thanks to the innovative service caller you can request support directly from our employees. In addition, each meeting room is warmly and attractively furnished, with an eye for detail and a lot of comfort.

Our meeting room in Sassenheim offers possibilities for different types of meetings and events, such as meetings, product launches and presentations. Meeting room with car lift

It is possible to place heavy materials in one meeting room, Region 2, by means of a goods lift (scissor lift). This meeting room is especially suitable for meetings and product launches where large objects are displayed. Region Rooms 1 + 2: the ideal combination for large-scale gatherings

By seamlessly integrating Region Room 1 and Region Room 2, we create an impressive space of 423 m², perfectly suited for large-scale meetings, conferences, dinners, and other gatherings.

The combined Region Rooms 1 + 2 offer an extensive and modern environment, infused with natural daylight and equipped with advanced audiovisual technologies. With soundproof walls and an acoustic ceiling, the atmosphere remains calm and focused, while wheelchair accessibility ensures inclusivity for all participants. Thanks to the ability to adjust lighting with the touchscreen panel, we create the ideal atmosphere for any occasion.

Capacity and versatility in room setups

With an area of 423 m², Region Rooms 1 + 2 accommodate various setups, including 72 people in a U-shaped arrangement, 64 people in a boardroom setup, 420 people in a theater arrangement, 130 people in a classroom setup, 550 people for a reception, 310 people for a dinner, 186 people in a cabaret setup, 85 people in a square setup, and 130 people for an exam setup. This flexibility allows us to meet every need, regardless of the nature or size of the event.

Flexible layout and connectivity options

Region Rooms 1 + 2 can also be linked to Region Room 3 and optionally Region Room 4 and Region Room 5, further increasing the total capacity and meeting the growing needs of your event. Our dedicated sales team is located on the same floor as the conference center, ensuring there is always someone nearby during your event. Moreover, our rooms are equipped with a Service Caller, allowing you to easily request assistance from our staff.
