Van der Valk Hotel Sassenheim - Leiden values the environment and features a Tesla charging station with universal Tesla Superchargers, allowing you to quickly charge your electric car. The superchargers are suitable for (almost) all electric cars; you only need the Tesla App. After entering your (credit card) details, you can charge your car.
Please note: The parking spaces for Tesla Superchargers are strictly for charging purposes. You risk a fine from Tesla if you park here without charging your car.

I don't drive a Tesla, how can I charge my car here?
- Download the Tesla app (version 4.2.3 or higher) on your iOS or Android device and register a Tesla account
- Go to 'charge your electric vehicle' and search for the Supercharger location: Van der Valk Hotel Sassenheim - Leiden (address: Warmonderweg 8, Sassenheim).
- Add your payment method in the app
- Connect your car to the charger and choose a Supercharger charging pole. Each charging pole has a label with a unique identification code at the bottom. If you have taken the charging cable from pole 2a, select charging pole 2a in the Tesla App. Please note: the cable must be connected to the vehicle within 2 minutes, otherwise the session will expire and you will need to repeat the procedure
- Select 'Start charging' to begin your session
- Select 'Stop charging' to end your session.
Can I check the availability of the location in the app?
Yes, you can view the availability of our Tesla Superchargers in the Tesla App.
