Created in the 1950s and 60s through sand excavations for the Hillegom lime sand factory, the lake has now become a beloved destination for both locals and tourists. Affectionately known as the Como Lake, Oosterduin Lake is approximately 1 kilometer long, 400 meters wide, and has a maximum depth of 13 meters, offering something for everyone.
