Every second Saturday in August, it is traditionally time for the summer flower parade in the Bollenstreek: The Flower Parade Rijnsburg. This splendid flower festival can be seen in the seaside resorts of Katwijk and Noordwijk, among others. On the Friday evening before, you can already view the cars during the Flower Parade opening show. These can be viewed at the Royal FloraHolland Flower Auction in Rijnsburg. Entrance is free!
The Flower Parade Rijnsburg takes place every year on the 2nd Saturday in August and is composed of 12 floats, 3 music cars, flower-decorated passenger cars and music bands. This special flower parade attracts more than 350,000 visitors every year.
Flower Parade Rijnsburg distinguishes itself from other parades by the use of hundreds of types of flowers that are processed by professional arrangers.
