Buitenplaats Vroenhof was established in 1865 on the site of the former 17th-century estate Weltevreden, which was demolished in 1863. Vroenhof consists of a country house and surrounding gardens, with an orangery, an old garden wall, remnants of greenhouses, and a gardener's house. The house, originally built as a notary house in eclectic style, integrates various architectural styles, including classicism and Louis styles. The property spans three floors: the ground floor, the main floor with high ceilings, and the attic with dormer windows and four corner chimneys. The main floor features a spacious living room with fireplaces, mirrors, chandeliers, and a beautifully decorated ceiling. The lavishly decorated study, overlooking the garden, still retains its original wallpaper. The gardens were landscaped in 1865 in the English landscape style and include remnants of an older landscape garden.
