The Panbos

De Pan van Persijn, also called the Panbos, is a walking and playing forest for young and old. The forest has duck ponds, play equipment for small children, a deer park, a goat meadow and beautiful sunbathing areas for relaxation. In addition, two walking routes have been set out: a short one of 1.5 kilometers and one of 3 kilometers. For more information about the walking routes, check out the website.

Parking

Thanks to our ideal location on the highway, the A44, many places of interest can be reached quickly. So is the Panbos. In less than 15 minutes you can already reach all the nice walking and playing forest. You can park your car in the parking lot that is located directly at the Panbos.

Public transport

It is possible to reach the Panbos from NS Station Sassenheim, but it will take you a little longer than by car. There are several options for getting to the Panbos by public transport. We recommend that you consult the NS website for the exact travel options and departure times.

Rent a bike

Are you a real nature lover? Then, in addition to walking in the Panbos, you can also go out by bike. The Panbos can be reached in a 40-minute bike ride. We offer you the possibility to rent a bicycle at the reception of our hotel. Do you like a little more convenience? Then you can also opt for an e-bike. It is also possible to cycle another cycle route in the Bollenstreek. We have mapped out special cycling routes for you, which can also be picked up (free) at our reception.
